Oh, that Blue Ribbon Committee was the buzz of this town the minute they announced. The Indianapolis Star reporter who covers the IU beat came out and said it was chopping the boys off at the knees.
And like a 10-person committee is going to be able to make a speedy decision anyway. That's academics for you -- they have no concept how the real world works. They think this is what it means to have "buy in."
I have a sinking suspicion that Dakich will be named interim coach by June, because they won't be able to find a coach willing to put up with the crap the IU administration is dishing out.

Well, Julie, you were right on target about IU. Man, what a disappointment. I'm really upset with IU's administration, too. Did you know they formed a group to pick a new coach LAST WEEK, the week of the tournament? Now how do you think that makes Dan Dakich and the team feel? No wonder they they lost - they must've felt like IU gave up on them. I hope a lot of IU alumns write nasty notes to the IU adminstration - clueless, if you ask me. They handled this whole thing with Kelvin Sampson TERRIBLY!!!! The screwed the basketball team in the process. I think we should send IU's admin packing, too!
Hey, 3.5 hours until IU tips off. Sometimes I wish I'd driven over to Raleigh yesterday and bought a ticket so I could say I was there when we beat UNC. Other moments, I think this Arkansas game will be over by halftime, and it was a waste of the IU's time to even go over there.
Oh my gosh. You would post THAT picture! Well, at least my kitchen looked good. And as I recall, that was about 10 minutes before I cut and highlighted my hair.
